    Description

    This was purchased in the summer of about 1927 by a highly beloved elder. It probably hung in his college dormitory room afterward.
    Then it eventually got packed away for literally decades. During that time, just a few moths got to it as pictured. But I don’t want to overstate this and/or worry anyone. The felt is still nicely supple. Letters and their stitching are super strong.
    Great colors - - both by combination and contrast. The four tassels are right there, albeit showing evidence of past thumbtacks as photographed.
    It is a wonderful piece. Nice! Authentic. Real.
